Plant-Watch

Our Plant‑Watch application can provide you with a shop‑floor data collection tool which not only automatically captures data directly from manufacturing equipment but also allows data analysis and the integration of this data with other Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), Production Scheduling, Quality Control and/or Machine Maintenance systems your company may already have in place.

Plant‑Watch is a proven PC‑based Microsoft Access database application which has been evolving since it was first brought onto the market.  With each new release, expanded functionality has been added to the application yet at the same time, we have strived to keep the application interface as simple and unobtrusive as possible since we realize that a tool too complicated to use is a tool that does not get used.

Plant‑Watch can help you collect various types of data in real-time:

• Capacity/Efficiency/Utilization Data: down time, order end time, down time reason codes, employee badge id’s
• Quality Control Data: present vs. set point sensor values displayed in x-bar, range and distribution charts
• Preventative Maintenance Data: machine production vs. machine idle time
• Production Data: work in progress machine summary
• Inventory Data: label printing for packaging
• Alarm Data: green, yellow and/or red customer specified color coded alarm conditions

Plant‑Watch can be linked to many types of machines and machine components; the following is just a partial list of machines and machine components to which Plant‑Watch has been connected.  Please note that if you do not see your machine manufacturer in the list below, do not worry since most components support or can be incorporated into an external connection to Plant‑Watch:

• GE (General Electric) and Idec PLC’s
• Milacron, Armac and Sencorp molding machines
• Red Lion counters
• Watlow and Barber-Colman temperature controllers
